The new and improved client app delivers better performance, a fresh new look, and exciting new features, making it faster and easier to find the right resource and the best available time slots.
We have added completely new features such as “Recommended for you”, and introduced new settings that allow users to customize how the client app works to match their preferences.
Please note from a technical perspective that this new client app requires upgrade to Resource Central version 4.4 or newer.
New intuitive look
The new client app has a completely new look that is better aligned with the new Outlook user interface. The design is more intuitive and lightweight, making it even easier for users to find and select resources.

Navigation pane and resource types
The navigation pane has been moved to the top and the resource types now have each their tab.
New and old can coexist
You can have both the new and the old client app installed at the same time. This is useful if you want to test the new client app or start by rolling it out to a smaller group of users.
The two client apps use different logos so users can easily tell them apart, and administrators can manage them more easily.

Fast recommendation
With this new feature we have developed an algorithm that will help recommend the best possible resources for each user.
With the new setting option we allow the user to decide whether they want the "recommended for you" screen as default or not.
Find available time
Explore the new feature that will help you find available timeslot where all attendees are available.

More customization options
In this new client app we offer the user more options to configure and customize functions to fit the users preferences. One of the new feature is the option to configure the level of information on each resource.

The new client offers a lot more small details that makes it easier to use and understand for all levels of users.
