Overview

This Knowledge Base article provides administrators and users with a comprehensive overview of the types of data collected by OfficePlace from Azure AD/Exchange for Admin Users, Meetings, Meeting Organizers, and Resources. It also clarifies whether the collected data is sent to Resource Central (in the case of integration) and specifies what data is stored within the OfficePlace database.

(**) If an appointment is marked as Private, the meeting subject will be replaced with the placeholder text "Private Appointment."
(***) Meeting Organizer: Users who schedule meetings that include OfficePlace imported resources.

Note on terminology:

This article uses the terms "Meeting" and "Meeting Organizer" as defined by Microsoft Outlook and Exchange. While these terms typically refer to scheduled meetings, they are also used here to describe reservations of other resources—such as desks, vehicles, or parking spaces.

We retain the use of "Meeting" and "Meeting Organizer" to align with Outlook’s interface and functionality, even when the reservation does not involve a traditional meeting.
