Product Roadmap for Workspace, Digital Sign Client and DS Service

Digital Sign Client and DS Service are software solutions designed for meeting room signs. With these tools, users can book meetings either through their familiar Outlook® environment or directly on touch screens located outside meeting rooms. The Digital Sign Service ensures that the information displayed on digital signage is accurate, enhancing both internal and external communication.

Workspace is a mobile app available for Android and iPhones that offers a convenient way to book Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft Exchange Server resources, such as meeting rooms and hot-desks.

The roadmap provides an overview of major features in future releases. It’s intended as long-term guidance and not as a guarantee of future releases as our development priorities change based on customer feedback. The roadmap is therefore updated on a regular basis.

Digital Sign Client:

• Crestron Digital Sign panel hardware support
• Support for Crestron digital signage panel hardware See more
• In Reservation Kiosk mode new option to manually define which resources are displayed on the kiosk interface
• Update functionality on E-paper screens only when necessary to reduce power consumption

Workspace:

• Improved "Extend Reservation" functionality with one-click action
• Support for NFC tags as an alternative to QR codes for actions like Create, Extend, End, and Check-in
• Add Dutch language support; remove Simplified Chinese
• Enable quick booking in time blocks like Morning, Afternoon, Full Workday
• Support for Microsoft Intune MAM policies

DS Service:

• Improve use of resource Incident created from Door Sign and Workspace app
• Booking Manager, Scaling timeline and only show working hours
• Handling of Configuration, Template and Event Files via API (technicality, to improve data transfer)
• Extend the Admin permission functionality
• Rename “Confirm” action to “Check-in” for consistency
• Support for rotating floorplan images independently in Workspace and Digital Signage Client for better screen utilization
