Recommendation
The default Microsoft SQL Server Compact database is intended for demos and simple deployments. It is not suitable for most production environments. For better performance, use one of the following options:
- Microsoft SQL Server Express
- A fully licensed version of Microsoft SQL Server
We support data migration from SQL Server Compact when you switch to another SQL Server option.
