Introduction
Star Control is GLORYSTAR's cloud-based management platform for NEBULA devices. It allows you to remotely manage devices, deploy applications, display websites or media content, monitor device status, and perform maintenance tasks from a central web portal.
GLORYSTAR devices are delivered with a Star Control license included for the first three years. To start using the service, you must create a Star Control account and register your devices to that account.
This article covers the basic steps needed to get started. For detailed configuration and advanced features, please refer to the attached Star Control 3.0 user Manual.
Step 1 – Create a Star Control Account
- Open the Star Control portal.
- Select Sign up for free trial.
- Complete the registration form.
- Verify your email address.
- Wait for the account to be approved by Glory Star.
Step 2 – Register Your Device
After your account has been activated:
- Open the settings menu on the GLORYSTAR device.
- Select Register in Star Control.
- Select Register with Admin Login.
- Enter the email address and password for your Star Control account.
- Restart the device when registration is complete.
- Refresh the Star Control portal after a few minutes. The device should now appear in your device list
Step 3 – Start Managing Your Device
Once registered, you can use Star Control to:
- Monitor device status.
- Restart devices remotely.
- Install and update applications.
- Display websites, media, or other content.
- Take screenshots for troubleshooting.
- Adjust device settings remotely.
