Summary
In some cases, users may need to change SQL passwords; however, this may cause them to be unable to login to DS Service due to the changed passwords.
The following guide will describe how to change SQL passwords without facing the issue above.
Solution
Step 1: Download and run the file UpdateSQLPassword.exe. The link to the download can be found via this KB article.
Step 2: When you run the program, the following dialog will appear:
Simply enter your new SQL Server login ID and new password.
Finally, click on [Update]. A message will confirm the successful update, marking the completion of the password change.
